WikiTraccs 1.35.5
(Pre)release Evolution
v1.35.3
- new: WikiTraccs now remembers previous license file locations, even when switching app folders after updating; no more forgetting to transfer the license file to the new folder
- new: WikiTraccs will now remember the last values you enter in the diagnostic export dialog and the user list update tool
- improved: when WikiTraccs is running in trial mode, this is now more clearly highlighted to prevent a silent regression from licensed into trial mode (for example due to a yet-to-be-placed license file):
- improved: wave names so far were not allowed to contain hyphens (-) and any wave name containing invalid characters was silently dropped; this has been adjusted:
- hyphens are now allowed in non-numeric wave names
- still invalid characters are now highlighted:
- if all wave names are dropped due to invalid characters, WikiTraccs used to treat that as “no wave selector present”; this has been adjusted to mean “no match, nothing to migrate” because the previous behavior was surprising
- improved: better status reporting and less meaningless retries when missing permissions in SharePoint target sites prevent WikiTraccs from operating normally
- improved: in inventory scan reports, the link map now shows space keys and space IDs
- fix: Confluence Cloud: images referencing an attachment on another, non-migrated page no longer render as an “Unknown attachment” placeholder; Atlassian’s new REST download-link format (no file name in the URL) had broken the on-demand file lookup (same-page images were unaffected)
- fix: external images failing to download with HTTP status code 421 were counted as “failed transformation”; this has been down-graded to a “normal” missing image
v1.35.3 → v1.35.5 (May, 19)
- fix: resolved issue where newly discovered Confluence user accounts were not immediately auto-mapped to Entra ID and used for setting the author and editor of migrated SharePoint pages, but only in the next migration run
- have a look at the new tutorial video explaining how to leverage user mappings to preserve author and editor information: Migrating Page Author and Editor from Confluence to SharePoint (Video)
