Why WikiTraccs and WikiPakk Are Not Affected
WikiTraccs is a Windows application built on Microsoft .NET. WikiPakk is a SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solution that runs as JavaScript in the browser, on SharePoint Online pages.
Neither product contains PHP or Node.js. Our license service does not use them either.
WikiTraccs uses the certificate check of Windows for its HTTPS connections. WikiPakk uses the certificate check of the browser. When WikiTraccs uses a browser for a task such as the sign-in, the browser checks the certificates.
Thus the Windows and browser updates that block the compromised eMudhra certificates also protect WikiTraccs and WikiPakk.
